Discover the Heartfelt Story of Cyberelements Support Co
Our Back Story
I'm Mim, the founder of Cyberelements Support Co. My journey has been shaped by living with multiple chronic health conditions, neurodivergence, and raising neurodivergent children. Navigating this while juggling a full-time and part-time job as a single parent eventually took a toll on my health.
In 2023, I began planning my business but put it on hold. I wanted to create something that not only allowed me to help others but also gave me the flexibility and control over my own time that I desperately needed. Drawing from my 33 years of experience in both the private and government sectors, I focused on my passions and skills to build something meaningful. I also thought about the things that my kids have had difficulty doing themselves or things that made them feel anxious and wanted to include these things as a part of my services.
The moment I began brainstorming, ideas flowed naturally, and I felt an excitement like never before. This business became a way for me to align my personal and professional experiences into something I genuinely love. At 47 years old, I finally found my calling, and Cyberelements Support Co was born.
I've poured my heart and soul into this business, and I’m incredibly proud of the support we offer to our clients. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I can’t wait to help you navigate yours.

My Work Experience
I began my career at 14 with a retail traineeship, eventually completing Retail Operations 1, 2, and 3. I gained extensive customer service and management experience. Seeking a change, I transitioned into administration, starting in a high school office, where I spent years honing my skills in finance, enrolments, minute-taking, library management, and general office duties. A highlight of this time was my role as Acting Senior School Assistant, where I handled high-level responsibilities, including finance management and end-of-year processes. I also worked as a Teacher Aide, which further broadened my skill set.
In 2015, inspired by my son's journey with Tourette syndrome, autism, OCD, ADHD, and anxiety, I pursued a teaching degree to support him better. Juggling full-time university studies, a small online business, and raising four children—including another Autistic child with ADHD—taught me exceptional time management and resilience.
In 2020, I undertook an Education Honours degree, focusing on teachers' understanding of Tourette syndrome and how to better support students with the condition. Through this, I gained invaluable insights into areas where professional development could enhance teacher effectiveness. Writing my 30,000-word thesis helped me develop strong research and academic writing skills, and I’m now working on resources to assist teachers in helping students with Tourette’s.
Around the same time, I was diagnosed with a condition that required brain surgery, prompting me to seek work that allowed for more flexibility. I began working from home as a virtual administrative assistant for a Melbourne-based company. When the company split in 2023, I continued working part-time in the eco-friendly packing hire division, a role I still enjoy today. To complement this, I also took on a full-time position with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) as a Customer Contact Officer. After finishing up with the NDIA, I started working in Business Support for a support service that has a team of amazing neurodivergent and neuroaffirming virtual assistants who specialise in supporting neurodivergent adults. I also enjoy working in this position as a subcontractor to this day.
With over 30 years of customer service experience, including 22 years of administrative expertise with five years of virtual administration/business support, I offer a broad range of services designed to help others. My journey has equipped me with the skills, passion, and insight to make a meaningful impact.
